Ilze-Meri Coetzee joined BCH Law in Tauranga after relocating from Gisborne with her family in April 2022. With over 15 years of experience as a legal secretary, she brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to her role.
In pursuit of deeper legal expertise, Ilze-Meri completed her Legal Executive Diploma at Toi Ohomai in November 2024. At BCH Law, she plays a vital role in the Family Law Team, primarily supporting Michelle Carey and Shevaun Price in matters relating to Relationship Property and Family Court proceedings.
Beyond her legal work, Ilze-Meri has a strong interest in IT and software. She actively contributes to the firm’s innovation efforts by helping to develop and refine precedent workflows and document systems.
Outside of work, Ilze-Meri enjoys a range of creative and recreational activities including archery, drawing, photography, and music.
