Kelly Clark

Kelly grew up in Patea, Taranaki, before heading south to attend the University of Canterbury, where she graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Sport Coaching, endorsed in Strength and Conditioning and majoring in Nutrition. She also holds a Certificate in Personal Training, completed in 2016 at Open Polytechnic, reflecting her early interest in health, discipline and performance.

While studying, Kelly worked as a personal trainer and was privileged to work with professional athletes and teams, including the NRL's New Zealand Warriors and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, when they were based in Christchurch. This experience helped her develop strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills that she now brings to her legal practice.

After graduating, Kelly began her legal career at a boutique firm in Tauranga in 2021, gaining a broad experience in family law. A short period practicing in Kapiti followed before returning to the Bay of Plenty to join the team at BCH Law.

Her work to date has focused on family law, including relationship property division, contracting out agreements, care of children disputes (including Oranga Tamariki matters), PPPR applications and Wills and estates. With BCH Law, she is excited to expand into civil litigation and continue developing a well-rounded and robust legal practice.

Kelly is highly motivated, diligent and committed to excellence. She brings empathy and professionalism to every client interaction. Being of Māori descent (Ngāpuhi, Tainui and Taranaki Tuturu), she has a strong sense of cultural understanding and values the importance of connection, community and integrity in her work.

Outside of the office, Kelly is a passionate rugby league supporter who lives and breathes the sport - especially when it comes to cheering on the Warriors!
